Dogs must be spayed/neutered by 10 months AND up-to-date (at a minimum) on rabies, distemper, bordetella to enter the off-leash area. See more info & rules below
Welcome to Solo Pup Park, a space created to celebrate the bond between humans and their pets. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following rules:
Leash Policy:
Dogs must be on a leash at all times unless within the designated off-leash yard. In the off-leash yard, dogs must be unleashed.
Access Requirements:
The off-leash yard is reserved for registered members with PITP or human guests of members. Membership is required for access.
Dog Handling:
By entering the yard, you grant our
Canine Counselors permission to handle your dog and intervene if conflicts arise. : Our Canine Counselors are conflict handlers. Owners might contribute, promoting a safe and respectful space
Leash Control:
Members must keep their leashes in their possession or use leash racks. Lost leashes are the owner's responsibility.
Collar Types:
Only flat-buckle collars are allowed in the off-leash yard. Harnesses, prong, pinch, choke, and electric collars are prohibited.
Check-In:
Prior to entering the off-leash yard, check in with a Canine Counselor in a calm manner.
Supervision:
While Canine Counselors are present, owners are responsible for checking on their dogs intermittently.
No Leaving Unattended Dogs:
Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Leaving the premises without your dog may result in membership revocation.
Assumption of Risk:
The use of the dog park is at your own risk. Owners are liable for their actions and their dog's actions while using the park.
Respectful Play:
Aggressive behavior is not permitted. Rough play is acceptable if consensual. Discourage mounting; actions will be taken to halt inappropriate behavior.
No Smoking or Food:
Smoking, food, and treats are not allowed within the dog park. Beverages from the bar are permitted. No outside drinks are allowed.
Children's Entry:
Children over 14 years old with school ID are allowed in the off-leash yard, accompanied by an adult. Children outside the yard must not disturb dogs or other visitors.
Spaying/Neutering:
Dogs over 10 months old must be fixed to access the off-leash yard. Aggressive dogs are prohibited.
Waste Management:
Owners must clean up after their dogs. Waste must be properly bagged and disposed of in marked receptacles.
Monitoring Dogs:
Owners are encouraged to accompany and supervise their dogs.
Aggressive Behavior:
Immediate action will be taken if aggression is observed. Repeated aggression may result in temporary removal from the yard.
Dog Fights:
Canine Counselors are trained to manage conflicts. Owners may be asked to intervene, but caution is advised.
Toys and Equipment:
No toys, including balls, are allowed in the park. Park equipment is used at your own risk.
Property Care:
Owners are responsible for preventing damage to park plants and property.
Vaccination Requirements:
All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.
Closure Notifications:
Yard closures due to maintenance will be posted on our website and social media.
Failure to comply:
Failure to comply with these rules may result in membership revocation. Your cooperation ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors and their furry companions. Thank you for being part of Solo Pup Park!
